VUP, a.s. was established in the year 1996 by transformation of Research
Institute of Petrochemistry founded in 1950. At present, it belongs to few
Slovak companies, which perform industrial research in the fi eld of chemistry
and it belongs to the most important producers of chemical specialities.
The object of activity
- Research of chemical syntheses and processes to the extent of
technological data (basic engineering) for new plants
- Small - scale production of chemical products, chemical specialities and
pure chemicals, products for health-care and cosmetics
- Service and expertise in the field of industrial ecology, chemical
analyses, physicalchemical processes, measurement of explosive properties of
gases and vapours, tests of chemical substances under requirements of
European legislation REACH
