Separation processes
Rectification
- Development of methods for rectification separation of organic
substances mixtures at atmospheric pressure or reduced pressure and
rectification separations using extraction and azeotropic systems
- Measurement of characteristics of pure substances and mixtures which are
needful for development of rectification separation of mixtures (saturated
vapour pressure, equilibrium liquid-vapour)
- Verification of development of mixtures rectification separations in
discontinual and continual laboratory rectification columns and discontinual
pilot-plant columns
- Removal of high-boiling liquids on a rotation film evaporator having the
evaporating efficiency of 30 kg H2O/h, at a temperature of up to
180 °C and a pressure of from 5 kPa to 101 kPa
- Rectification of liquid and solid mixtures (melting temperatures of
components up to 80 °C) at normal and lowered pressures (up to 0,3 kPa) in
discontinual pilot rectification columns (separating efficiency about 30
theoretical stages)
Extraction

- Experimental selection of extracting agent, verification of its
efficiency in various regimes of multi-stage extractions, regeneration of
extracting agent
- Measurement of characteristics of pure substances and mixtures which are
needful for a separation development of mixtures by extraction (solubility
of solids and gases in liquids, equilibrium liquid-liquid)
- Verification of development of extraction removal in laboratory and
pilot conditions
Crystallization
- Development of mixture separation and products isolation by
crystallization from a solution and melting, respectively
- Measurement of characteristics of pure substances and mixtures which are
needful for development of mixtures separation by crystallization (melting
temperature, solubility of solids in liquids, equilibrium solid-solid)
- Verification of development of crystallizing isolation in laboratory and
pilot conditions using filtration and centrifugation.
